Privacy policy
Updated:
This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed on rostona.lt under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.
1. Data controller
Rostona — [legal entity name and company code]
Address: Pramonės g. 00, Vilnius, Lithuania
Email: info@rostona.lt
2. What data we process
When you contact us by email or phone, we process only the data you give us: your name, email address or phone number, the address of the site to be measured and the content of your message, including any sketches or photos. The website has no forms, so no personal data is collected while you browse it.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process the data to answer your enquiry, prepare an estimate and agree on the work — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep the correspondence for our records and to resolve possible disputes on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Recipients and processors
Your emails are stored on our email provider's servers. The website is delivered through the Cloudflare network and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). The contact page embeds a Google Maps map, also provided by Google Ireland Ltd. To deliver their content, these services technically receive your IP address, and Google Maps may set its own cookies. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry data for 12 months after receiving it. If the enquiry leads to an order, we keep the order records for as long as accounting and warranty obligations require.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or erased;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- receive it in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI), vdai.lrv.lt.
To exercise your rights, email info@rostona.lt. We will reply within 30 days.
7. Cookies
The website itself does not use cookies, analytics or other tracking technologies. The only exception is the embedded Google Maps map on the contact page, which may set Google's cookies; see Google's privacy policy.
8. Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with the date of the update.
